To try and provide proof of the above I decided to run an experiment and create an outfit for my 3 year old daughter from both the boys and girls section from Cotton On Kids and see if she approves. If I told her that the t-shirt and socks were from the ‘boys’ section she would NEVER have accepted them. However, I decided to show her the entire outfit and just ask ‘Would you love to wear all of this”?
