Inspired by a trip to Melbourne, Victorian Blossom celebrates the intricate architectural details found throughout the city — from the ornate ironwork of bridges and lampposts to the beautiful embellishments of historic doorways.

While the inspiration is rooted in old-world charm and Victorian elegance, the colour palette is anything but traditional! Bright, playful and full of energy, this series reimagines these timeless details through a colourful, contemporary lens.

Created using a skeleton of recycled Styrofoam, foil, cardboard and paper mâché, each piece gives discarded materials a new life. By transforming waste into something beautiful, I hope to challenge the idea of rubbish and show that even the most unexpected materials can blossom into art rather than end up in landfill.

A little bit vintage, a little bit quirky, and a whole lot of colour — Victorian Blossom is where old-world architecture meets my bright, recycled world.
